JP Roberts the voice behind JP’s Traffic discusses how playing sports provided him lessons that he still carries with him today.  JP played for the 1980 Class 4A State at Large Champion Paducah Tilghman football team during the fall and was a catcher in the spring for the Tornado baseball team.  JP discusses the coaching styles that influenced him as player and how that compelled him to give back.

BillyChumblerBilly Chumbler as a basketball player the Greatest Lowes Blue Devil of all-time.  He set the Louisville Invitation Tournament (LIT) scoring record.  He was recruited by Adolph Rupp of the University of Kentucky but chose to play college basketball at Mississippi State University and was the team captain at Murray State University.

As a coach, Chumbler was inducted into Illinois Coaches Hall of Fame with an Illinois record of 492-196. He coached at Cairo High School and Century High School in Illinois. He coached at Paducah Tilghman and Trigg County with a Kentucky record of 288-93 compiling an overall high school coaching record of 780-289.

Randy Wyatt is a Paducah Tilghman High School coach that has won multiple KHSAA State Championships in multiple sports as a coach and an athlete.
Randy describes the mindset that is required to win championships. He provides insights from his early influences on his career.
Many coaches and players excel in a single sport. But Randy Wyatt has a resume that is in very select company by winning championships in football and track as a coach and dominating his track events as an athlete.
What does it take from a player, parent and a coach to bring home championships? It is probably not what you think.
