Marshall County Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee, Dax Myhand does a follow up interview with Dennis Foust.  In Episode 10 you can reflect on how Dennis was in a life and career transition.  You will be inspired when you hear the actions of one man’s quest to build on past and current successes inside a community.

Dennis discusses the plans for Mike Miller park and key drivers that have inspired him to be involved in bringing together a volunteer oriented community that will promote economic development while investing in the youth of our community and giving tribute to those that have made it possible.

Dennis talks about creating a home for the Marshall County High School Mountain Biking team and why he is bringing back the feeder program for the Marshall County Little League Basketball program.  The Marshall County Little Dribblers is an exciting program that taught a generation of Marshals and Lady Marshals how to handle a basketball and is for children in grade K-2.

Ed Jones played basketball at Benton High School scoring the first varsity basket in the Chambers Memorial Gymnasium and later coached the last Benton High School Basketball team before becoming the first athletic director of the Marshall County High School consolidation.

Jones attended college at University of Tennessee at Martin, where he held numerous records in men’s basketball.  Coach Jones emphasized with great success fundamentals and developing players to make decisions.  He continues to use his leadership development skills in mission projects through the Benton Church of Christ.

Dennis Foust a native of Marshall County played high school basketball as point guard, and founded the Marshall County Little Dribblers program.  If you have been to a Marshall County home basketball game in the past years you will recognize him as the PA announcer.    Dennis provides forty years of insights and inspiration on how to be involved in youth sports and demonstrates a dedication to the development of our kids and a commitment to our community.  Dennis describes the condition of little league sports programs and the value of the dead period.

Andy Pagel is an accomplished high school player and is the Marshall County High School Boys Soccer Coach.

Andy has been voted Region 1 Coach of the year multiple times and continues to lead the Marshals to Region 1 championships.  Andy reveals coaching secrets that develop cohesiveness in a team that results in wins and championships.   This is Part 2.
